S type load cells (also called Z-beam load cells) are one of the most popular types of weighing scale load cell available for precision, price and ease of installation. These load cells are used to convert mechanical scales to digital scales by replacing in-balance hardware and springs.

We stock a variety of Zemic S-type load cells constructed from durable, stainless steel with up to IP68 rated waterproof and dustproof protection. Some of the models we offer also come sealed with OIML Class 3 trade approvals.

Note: These load cells are extremely sensitive to extraneous load and torque.
