A load cell is a transducer that is used to convert force into measurable electrical output. Zemic's single point load cells feature a lightweight, anodised aluminium construction and can be fixed to platforms and surfaces directly. S-beam load cells (also called Z-beam or S type load cells) are one of the most popular types of load cell available for precision, price and ease of installation. They are used to convert mechanical scales to digital by replacing in-balance hardware and springs. We stock a series of nickel plated and stainless steel models suitable for hanging scales and hopper scales.
